Hey there! I’m Scott — part researcher, part developer, part neural network tinkerer. I've spent my professional career writing code, but my education and passion projects have been centered around learning cognitive neuroscience and putting together artificial neural network systems. My goal is to build a artificial brain system that can control an autonomous agent. I created a cognitive model that allowed a virtual agent to learn from its environment and to use tools. I've recently improved the model to give an agent more flexible behavior after initial plans fail. These upgrades are all based on theoretical processes of the human emotional system.
